Double Goal Coaching: Coaching For Winning & Life Lessons
Establishes PCA’s premise that youth and high school sports entail the goal of winning and the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.
Double Goal Coaching: Developing Competitors
Views the Double-Goal Coach model through the lens of high school sports, including such topics as social pressure, hazing, and the role of high school coaches and athletes as standard-bearers in their communities.
Double-Goal Coach: Positive Motivation
Provides deeper exploration of Filling Emotional Tanks, including discussion of research that demonstrates how positive coaching improves performance and openness to life lessons through sports.
Mastery: Coaching For Peak Performance
Provides deeper exploration of PCA’s second principle for coaches, ELM (Effort, Learning and bouncing back from Mistake). Coaches will explore how to help their athletes improve and perform to their potential through a mastery focus.
Double-Goal Coaching: Coaching the Mental Game
Trains coaches to apply PCA principles and the culture as learned in the earlier Double-Goal Coach workshops into specific coach-player interactions that help youth reach higher levels of success in sports and other aspects of life.
Fitness/Speed & Agility
To excel in all sports, athletes need strength, power,
Speed, and agility. This presentation focuses on linear speed, change of direction, quickness and strength and power development for enhanced performance to help student athletes reach their full athletic abilities.
Train In And Out of Season
Discusses the importance of creating a strong off-season program to help each athlete to reach their full potential physically, mentally, and academically. Also introducing new methods in which coaches can get their student-athletes maximum exposure which will give them an opportunity to extend their athletic career on a collegiate level and qualify for secondary education
Fueling Champions: Using Sports Nutrition for That Extra Edge
1) When and how a young athlete should be fueling throughout the day
2) How to recognize if an athlete may not be receiving proper nutrition
3) The Importance of Recovery Nutrition
4) Tips to help young athletes and their families eat well on a budget.
Basics of Injury Management
Discusses various aspects of athletic injuries such as concussion management, sprains, strains, etc.
The player to coach (and coach to player) relationship is fundamental for ultimate success on the court. There are several components to any quality relationship, but the characteristics that will be focused on the relationship between coaches and players are respect, trust, communication, and compromise

How to build a 30-day preseason work schedule to accomplish your season goals & controlling a game and making adjustments.
Social Media/Network Conduct
Discusses the importance of social media conduct. It is our mission to raise social media awareness in all individuals and educate on the proper approach one should be taking in order to maximize their own personal brand through social media outlets.

Ted Ginn Sr.: Legendary football coach at Glenville High School. Founder & Director of the Ginn Academy. Coached over 200 Division I athletes.
Cecil Shorts III: Collinwood High School & Mount Union University Graduate. Selected in the 4th round to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Pierre Woods: Glenville High School & University of Michigan Graduate. 5 year NFL career with the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.
Christian Bryant: Ginn Academy & Ohio State University Graduate. Selected in the 7th round to the St. Louis Rams in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Sabrina Parr: Collinwood High School Graduate. 5x All-American & 2x State Track Champion. Founder of GetUptoParr Fitness Lifestyle Company.
Kyle Harrison: Selected 1st overall pick in the 2005 Major League Lacrosse Draft. 2008 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Selection.
Bryce Woodson: Lacrosse player at the Ohio State University. Voted team captain of the lacrosse team during his senior year at Ohio State.
Andre Thornton: Played for the Cleveland Indians from 1977-1987. Member of the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame.
Simone Jelks: Brush High School & University of Southern California Graduate. Former professional basketball player, Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Recipient & member of Brush High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame. NBA G-League and NCAA Division-One Basketball Official, author and high school Spanish teacher
2/7/2018 -- Seniors accepted scholarships and committed to colleges and universities on National Signing Day. With proud and happy parents looking over their shoulders, they sat 30 abreast in the East Professional Center atrium and put their names on letters of intent.
8/18/2017 -- The mouth guards were donated and fitted to each player's mouth by dentists and dental students volunteering for the Safe Smiles program.
5/16/2017 -- The Cleveland Browns, CMSD and the city broke ground Tuesday for installation of a synthetic-turf football field at John Adams High School. The field is the fourth of five that the team is donating to the District and will be placed on what is now empty land.
