The TDES process consists of five evaluation events and a Composite end-of-year evaluation. The process is designed to facilitate conversation around teaching, with opportunities for reflection and professional development built into the cycle.
The elements of the 5 event process are: Walkthrough 1, Formal Announced Observation, Walkthrough 2, Unannounced Observation, Walkthrough 3. A fourth Walkthrough is optional. The Composite is not an observation event; but is a cumulative evidence view and determination of a final rating.
