    "Cafeteria manager goes the extra mile to lift students' self-esteem"   
     
    Ethel Hicks, the Assistant Manager at Marion C. Seltzer Elementary School, went above and beyond the call of duty last summer when she applied for and received a grant from Neighborhood Connections. With the funds she received, she founded Beyond Outlets, an after-school program designed to help growing girls be comfortable in their own skin and discover new passions. She was recognized as the 2017 Operations Employee of the Year for her efforts and dedication to students.
