    WHO?    12TH Grade Students

    WHAT?   This week we highlight the importance of having your post-high school plans in motion and tying up any loose ends to obtain

    the most amount of financial aid possible.  We will continue our focus on helping Seniors complete College Applications, search

    scholarships and submit FAFSA applications on-line.

    ·        Monday-Wednesday (11/14-11/16) FAFSA Completion

     

    • College Now will be conducting individual student conferences in Room 103 to complete the FAFSA (a list of needed information is listed on the back).
    • Students will be given 3 tickets to enter the $10 Chipotle gift card raffle after submitting their FAFSA online.

     

    ·         Thursday, 11/17/16 à College Application Day (8:00AM-11:00 AM)

     

    • College volunteers alongside your School Counselors will assist seniors in completing college applications and/or scholarships in the Media Center.
    • The Media Center will be OPEN for WALK-INS from 8-11:00 AM for any SENIORS who wish to complete college applications.
    • Students will be given 1 ticket for each college application they complete to enter a drawing for a $10 Chipotle gift card. We invite ALL staff and students to WEAR YOUR COLLEGE GEAR!

     

    ·         Thursday, 11/17/16 Mandatory Senior Parent Night (5:00PM-7:00PM)

     

    • Seniors & Parents/Guardians are invited to come and learn about senior dues, activities, internships, cap/gown measurements, graduation requirements, college and financial aid information.
    • Refreshments will be provided!!! The winners of our $10 Chipotle gift cards will be announced and MUST be present to win!

     Learn about various programs, admission/eligibility requirements and other information of diverse student opportunities.

    • Students MUST pick up a pass the day before the visit on the counter in the MAIN office. 
    • Participating students must have their class teacher SIGN the pass to enter the visit/information session.
    • REMEMBER: YOU are responsible to make-up any missed class work You MUST be registered on Naviance to participate in any college visits. PLEASE BE PROMPT!
