• Community Wraparound: a strategy for organizing the schools and the community’s resources for student success

United Way of Greater Cleveland and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District want to help your child be successful. The Site Coordinator at George Washington Carver works with school personnel, you and your child to:

    1. Gather the necessary data on your child to see how he/she is doing in school. This will include their grades, test scores, attendance and behavior incidents.
    2. Match your child with the best services that will address his/her needs. For example, if your child is behind in reading, identify a tutorial program to provide support.
    3. Keep track of your child’s success and share their progress with you, school personnel, key United Way staff, and data partners. All information will be confidential.
