    Summer Professional Development for Staff
     
    This week long experience at the University of Connecticut is hosted by Dr. Joseph  Renzulli.  The focus is on research based best practice that facilitate a school wide enrichment approach.  All staff that I have taken to Confratute found it immensely engaging with practical strategies to bring back to the classroom.
     
    This week long experience at University of Virginia is hosted by Dr. Carol Ann Thomlinson.  The focus is on differentiation strategies from simple to complex.  Each day starts with a session led by Dr. Thomlinson followed by break out sessions.  Staff that I have taken to IAD  made comments such as, "This changed how I look at teaching and learning."
