Mr. David Neylon
My name is David Alan Henry Neylon. I teach CNC/Precision Machining at CMSD and taught PMT-III at Cuyahoga Community College for the past 8 yrs. I started at CMSD in Feb. 2016. This is my first full year as a high school educator. I am a graduate of James F. Rhodes H.S., class of 1978. I've been a machinist since 1978; a Tool & Die Maker - Journeyman since 1996; Tool Designer, Product Designer since 2000. I was born and raised in Old Brooklyn neighborhood in Cleveland. My father was a lifelong steelworker, my mom, office manager. I have 4 siblings, one older brother, three younger sisters. I currently live in Brook Park. I've been married to my beautiful wife, Cheryl, for 29 yrs., who is also a CMSD teacher for the past 30 yrs. as well as a CTU Officer. I have one daughter, Erin (25). I have pets: fish, one loose golden gecko (in the house somewhere...) My favorite food is Chinese, pizza, and Malley's chocolate. Music is favorite pastime. I play the guitar and piano. I've performed in bands since I was 16. I'm currently in two performing groups even though I can't read music. I enjoy camping, motorcycle riding, traveling, and art. Fun fact: I'm a chocoholic. That's right...I already said, " I love Malley's".
