Major League Baseball warmed up for Tuesday night’s World Series opener at Progressive Field by celebrating with students in the afternoon at CMSD’s Luis Muñoz Marin Dual Language Academy.
MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and Indians owner Paul Dolan participated, as did former Indians Lenny Barker, Joe Charboneau, Jason Stanford and Brian Anderson and current team member Chris Gimenez. Students displayed their Wiffle ball skills.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland selected the school for the event. The organization operates clubs at Luis Muñoz Marin and several other District schools.
