Excellence in Teaching winners announced (Photo gallery, video)
This is the third year for the awards, a partnership between the George Gund and Cleveland foundations, the District and the Cleveland Teachers Union. The goal is to spread best practices by honoring teachers who set a standard of excellence and serve as an example for their peers.

6/8/2015 -- Cleveland High School for Digital Arts students set up lemonade stands Monday at three different downtown Cleveland locations as part of Lemonade Day Northeast Ohio, an initiative to encourage young people to learn to build their own business.

Cooking show mixes digital arts, academics (video)
3/16/2015 - "Food Fight Revolution" was the idea of film teacher Jennifer Poland. Area chefs whipped up Revolutionary War-era fare in cooking show competition that also taught lessons in history, science and social studies. A crew of 40 students worked on the production.
