All-City Arts to present "Bring It On: The Musical"
2/27/2018 -- CMSD's All-City Arts program will present "Bring It On: The Musical" from April 27-29 at the Ohio Theatre on Playhouse Square. The 19th annual All-City Musical will feature the talents of nearly 50 students. All-City Arts Program Director Kimberly Sias will direct.

Juniors take the ACT on Tuesday

WKYC, District partner on Cleveland black history project
2/6/2018 -- WKYC-TV and CMSD have partnered on a Cleveland black history storytelling project and will provide glimpses of student work this month during the station’s 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. newscasts. “Black History Makers” takes various forms, including a stage production, digital portraits of famous figures from Cleveland’s past, a virtual reality headset that transports users to the historic Karamu House theater and a video game that depicts Olympic legend Jesse Owens clearing hurdles.

Dental clinic gives CMSD students reason to smile
2/2/2018 -- Case dental students and dentists from the Greater Cleveland Dental Society spent the morning providing free exams, cleanings, X-rays and sealant work to more than 250 students from Alfred A. Benesch, Marion-Sterling and George Washington Carver schools. Students who had cavities received fillings in the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald Care Mobile unit.
