Report shows more CMSD students prepared for college, fewer attending
4/19/2018 -- The District’s graduation rate has jumped 16 percentage points in six years to 72 percent, and more students are prepared for college, according to the Higher Education Compact of Greater Cleveland. Despite this, the number who enroll within a year of high school graduation has decreased by 16 percentage points over the same period, due to obstacles that include cost, the report says.

4/19/2018 -- The Excellence in Teaching Award program, now in its third year, recognizes teachers who demonstrate instructional expertise, creativity and innovation, make learning engaging, vibrant and relevant and set a standard for excellence. The goal is to motivate and inspire teachers, help teachers share practices and enhance the reputation of teachers in Cleveland.
