Cleveland State University Summer Camp
Enrollment for 2019 camp will open Monday March 4th at 9am. You can register your camper online via our online portal, or in our Pro Shop located at 2420 Chester Avenue. Camp this year will begin on May 28, 2019 and run through August 9, 2019.

You CAN be a HERO!
An After School Field Science Experience for Middle and High School Students Where: Case Western Reserve University-Leonard Gelfand STEM Center (Guilford House), 10900 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44106 July 2019- June 2020: Environmental Heroes
What you do matters! Learn how in this free after school program for middle and high school level students (minimum age 12), a program of Case Western Reserve University's Leonard Gelfand STEM Center. Self - motivated participants will engage in real science with the guidance of experts, collecting and analyzing environmental data in the Lake Erie watershed. Only serious Environmental Heroes willing to make a commitment for two years need apply. Youth will be selected in a competitive application and interview process. All new and returning participants will spend two weeks in the summer actively developing and improving their field observation and investigative skills.
2019 Summer Session: Tuesday –Friday: July 23-26 and Monday – Friday: July29-August 2
Daily Schedule: 9:30a.m. – 3:00p.m.
After school sessions are Wednesdays beginning September 11, 2019, 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m., throughout the year. All sessions are at Case Western Reserve University.

2019 High School Tech Camp
TECH CORPS in collaboration with RITE will be implementing High School Tech Camp throughout Northeast Ohio. High School Tech Camp is a full-day, week-long summer experience designed specifically for high school students. The goal of High School Tech Camp is to engage students in activities that can stimulate a deeper interest in technology as well as provide opportunities for them to express their imaginations. Students can take a "deep dive" into C#, Cyber Security or Blockchain.
Each camp is comprised of 20 students and led by two TECH CORPS Instructors. Families will be responsible for transportation and lunch/two snacks/beverages. Camps will be held at various colleges throughout the Cleveland area.
THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO MEET BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
-Resident of Northeast Ohio
-Will be enrolled in the 9th-12th grade in the Fall of 2019
Student Selection Process:
Students interested in being selected to participate will need to complete the full application. Up to 20 students will be selected for each camp based on their application (10 points), short answer questions (60 points) and letter of recommendation (30 points). Please note that incomplete applications, including separate letter of recommendation, will NOT be considered. Students will be notified of selection by email.
Cleveland Summer Tennis ProgramMonday thru ThursdayTwo sessions per day: 10am-noon, 1-3 pmJune 10th - August 1st
Who: Boys and girls ages 8-17 will learn from experienced tennis instructors.
What: A summer-long drop in program for youth looking to learn or develop fundamental tennis skills.
Where: 10 different City of Cleveland Courts: Archmere, Gunning Park, Halloran, Harmody, Humphrey Park, Impett, Jefferson, Kerriush Park, Rockefeller Park and Warsaw Park.
How: Registration is free. Parents must complete both sides of this form, to be turned in to instructors at the court of your choice, or your nearest recreation center. Wear athletic shoes and hat.
Forest Immersion Program for High School StudentsJune 6 - 7, 2019We at Holden Forests & Garden are looking forward to another year of our Forest Immersion XP high school program! We will be running the experience at Red Oak camp for a group of 10-20 high schoolers (14-18) on June 6th and 7th, 2019.The Forest Immersion XP program is a combination of content specific activities, physical activities, camp type activities and active career education, all surrounding trees and how we work with (and in) them.
