Mr. Gary McPherson

I grew up in the West Park area of Cleveland and attended Cleveland Public Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I graduated from John Marshall.  I attended Oral Roberts University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Music Education.  I taught in Oklahoma for a six years.   When I moved back home, I met my wife.  After dating three months, we were married.  We moved to Illinois, where I taught for five years.  We moved back to Cleveland after the birth of our daughter Meagan.  I graduated from Cleveland State University with a Master's in Educational Technology. I worked a few different places.  However, I always wanted to teach in Cleveland and 'pay it forward' as thanks for the great education I received. I started teaching in 1996 at Walton School.  In 2016, I transferred to Michael R. White STEM school.  This year we will celebrate Michael R. White's 100th year.
