Rubrics of Professional Performance
CMSD staff are rated using a performance and evidence-based rubric. Teachers and administrators worked together to develop rubrics that accurately captured the expectations for employee performance and were aligned to the Danielson framework.
The rubrics break down general categories of performance, called domains, into descriptions of performance, called components. The four domains are: Domain 1, Planning and Preparation; Domain 2, The Classroom Environment; Domain 3, Instruction; Domain 4, Professional Responsibilities.
