Summer Learning 2021

Dedicated to excellence in education

  • Get ready for an unforgettable Summer Learning Experience!

For Cleveland students, this will be a summer like no other. The CMSD Summer Learning Experience will include fun and adventure in a safe environment for scholars from preschool through 12th grade. Please take time to explore your options, and starting Monday, May 3 you will be able to sign up for one or both of our four-week sessions. Opportunities abound for students to Finish, Enrich and Engage in learning. This page will be updated as courses and camps are added.

Finish the year strong. Complete work disrupted by the pandemic or earn credits for next school year with classes taught by certified CMSD teachers. K-8 students will focus on English Language Arts and math; high school students can make up credits, accelerate their learning with credits for new classes or prepare for college entrance exams.

Enrich learning with projects that let you dig into special interests. Summer Learning Experience sites will offer projects focused on “The Land,” STEM, humanities or the arts. High schools will also feature career technical education. Certified CMSD teachers will provide direction.

Engage in fun, outdoor activities with camps that the Boys & Girls Clubs, Cleveland Playhouse, Esperanza, YMCA and other community partners will offer weekday afternoons at Summer Learning Experience sites.
