While your school nurse and other trusted providers will continue to provide care, the IHI will allow schools to be even more responsive to the physical and mental health needs of children.

Vision:
In pursuit of a strong, healthy, and thriving city, all members of the CMSD community have access to high-quality comprehensive health care services--including physical and mental wellness as well as social supports— within the spaces and places in which they learn, work, and live.
These services are delivered in collaboration between CMSD and community health partners across the city of Cleveland.
Mission:
The Integrated Health Department will provide seamless physical and behavioral health services to all scholars that promote lifelong wellness and support learning.
Goals:
- Expand access to and use of health care services.
- Increase Medicaid reimbursement for school-based health services.
- Increase the number of scholars for whom the Health Consent Form has been completed.
- Increase the number of scholars enrolled in health insurance.
- Increase the number of scholars who have and utilize a medical home.
