Translation and Interpretation Services
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District policy for providing parents with bilingual interpretation and translation support by district employees is outlined in Ohio Civil Rights Action OCR Docket 15‑08‑1276. Parents who require interpreter or translation services can be identified in PowerSchool on the Multilingual Services page. Please pay close attention to both the Home Language and Native Language fields. If either field indicates a language other than English, an oral interpreter and/or written translation is required.
The Multilingual Multicultural Education Department’s Translations & Interpretations Subdivision is committed to meeting the translation and interpretation needs of our multilingual CMSD families. All families and caregivers needing these services must request them through their child’s school. You may also contact the Translations & Interpretations Subdivision directly at:

Please note that Principal, Administrator, Department Administrator signature is required on ALL forms.
