KH: Public Gifts to the District
Policy
The District encourages and welcomes gifts from organizations and individuals to improve District programs, operations, or facilities. However, the cost of obtaining, installing, maintaining, and protecting any gift must be less than the value of the gift. In addition, the sources and uses of gifts should not be objectionable to community residents, District personnel, students, or families.
All gifts shall be acknowledged and recorded. The District may provide public recognition for gifts.
