Finance Systems

The Finance Systems team supports schools, staff, and departments in accessing and effectively using Workday and related systems. Additionally, the division manages the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Cleveland Metropolitan Schools' Workday Finance, Payroll, and Procurement systems.

The Financial Systems team provides functional support to all users of the Workday system within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Workday is an integrated suite of software applications utilized by teachers, staff, and administrators. Our team promotes the efficient and effective use of this financial system. We proactively monitor and ensure the quality and relevance of system information and processes, provide robust reporting, and empower users with the skills to synthesize data into organized information.

Our Financial Systems team acts as a liaison between all departments and users within the district to resolve technical issues related to Workday and related systems. We plan, coordinate, and conduct systematic testing during upgrades or enhancements to the Workday modules and processes. We maintain financial system setups and execute Workday system processes as needed. New system implementations or enhancements to Workday's financial modules are either undertaken by our group or coordinated with our group.
