Mrs. Tina M. Smith
Hi! I am an Intervention Specialist that works with students who have special needs. I have worked in the high school for 10 years and middle school for 12 years. You may see me in my room 231 with my students who range in grades from 7th to 8th grade. We work on Reading, Math Social Studies and Science just like everyone else. Many students are multiplying and dividing or performing algebra while others might be adding or counting. We also work on social skills, getting along with others and playing together. That is why you might see us playing games in our room. We also work on daily living skills and job skills, so you may see us working on task boxes, sorting items, or cleaning up. I am happy to begin my 22th year teaching. I love working hard to help others and make a difference. I look forward to a sensational year at Newton D. Baker School of Arts!
