I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio. I have 7 brothers and sisters.  I have 3 cats and a dog.  
I attended college at Cleveland State University where I earned a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Education - with a focus on Special Education.
I have taught at Mary M. Bethune School for 27 years;  I worked as an Instructional Assistant for 2 years at Mary M. Bethune as well. I have worked with children with special needs since I was 18 years old.  I am also involved with Special Olympics in our school, our district and at the state and national levels.
I like to cook, read, camp, sports and of course, playing with my pets!
