Lee Clinton Buddy Jr., Ed.D., is the proud Principal of Wade Park School in Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Dr. Buddy has over 10 years of education and experience in diverse metropolitan public school districts including Miami, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Buddy is a change agent for education, providing leadership in the implementation of the vision and mission, administration of school policies, teacher mentorship, data analysis, operations, and finance.
Dr. Buddy earned a doctorate in educational leadership from Walden University. He earned a specialist degree in educational leadership from Mercer University. He also earned a masters of science in reading and bachelors of Science in elementary education from Barry University. Dr. Buddy is an untiring worker and is exceedingly dedicated to getting his job done. His ability to plan ahead and organize along with his communication and people skills, go along way to secure his success in whatever challenge he decides to undertake. Dr. Buddy demands perfection from his staff and students and he expects them to strive for excellence at all times.
Dr. Buddy’s mission is to improve student achievement, develop instructional leaders, increase parent and community engagement, and close the achievement gap. He leads an amazing group of students and staff at Wade Park School where students participate in project-based learning, hands on activities, and enrichment activities to develop the “whole” child.
