Now enrolling 9^th graders for the 2020-2021 school year

An open enrollment school, Cleveland’s new, state-of-the-art high school on Lake Erie takes a social justice and equity approach to preparing students for college and career.

The campus includes two schools: School of the Liberal Arts and Garrett Morgan.

College preparatory curriculum with multiple options for students to earn college credit in high school:

• Arts-enhanced programs with access to community arts resources programs of study and extracurricular activities
• Career exploration through business partnerships and mentorships tied to students’ individual academic interests
• Explore topics around journalism, mass media, advertising and public relation
• Focus on reading, writing, speaking and listening

If you love the arts, are fascinated by media and communications and if you enjoy critical thinking and problem solving, you will find joy in learning every day at the West Side High School.

With senior internships and a curriculum that emphasizes the development of social responsibility, students learn to master communication in addition to developing strong intellectual and practical skills needed for success in the 21^st Century workplace.
