On March 12, 2020, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that all schools in the state would close for an extended spring break. The COVID-19 pandemic put a sudden stop to the accelerating momentum of the gains made by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD).
But, with every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. CMSD was able to persevere and put forward a new way of learning.
