JFK E3agle Academy focuses on social justice--the recognizing and acting upon power that we have for making change in our society. We aim on providing scholars opportunities for seeing how positive change happens and how they can be both catalysts and leaders in creating change.
Learning and action planning are at the core of a challenging curriculum that is rooted in the Common Core State Standards and integrates wellness, the arts, and problem-solving activities to prepare scholars to make a difference in their community and in the world.
The groundbreaking was purely ceremonial. The building, scheduled for completion in 2020, is already going up in the 15100 block of Miles Ave., about one and a half miles from the existing JFK.
