CMSD delays hybrid learning for one week
2/25/2021 -- CMSD will delay students’ return to hybrid learning for one week to ensure the transition goes as effectively as possible. The first phase of the return will begin the week of March 8, instead of March 1 as originally planned.

Homeless families relying on Project ACT during pandemic
2/26/21-- Project ACT is making sure families who are homeless or at risk of being homeless have their basic needs met so children can concentrate on schoolwork.

Nonprofit's plan would keep Collinwood High, add community uses
2/23/2021 -- The WorkRoom Program Alliance would buy the massive building and lease back a portion to CMSD. Plans call for converting remaining space to other uses, including an adult training center for manufacturing and robotics.

2/23/2021 -- College Now mentors guide graduates bound for college and postsecondary career training, including recipients of the Say Yes to Education scholarships given to graduates of CMSD high schools.

Current events inspire MC2STEM to hold human rights conference
2/8/2021 -- A pandemic. Black Lives Matter protests. A volatile election. These events by themselves are great topics for discussion in a classroom, but to have all three happen in one year prompted educators at MC2STEM to hold a human rights conference as a capstone project for 11th graders.

Cleveland Orchestra honors CMSD for supporting students, families
2/8/2021 -- The District received one of the Orchestra's annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Awards for working to remove barriers to education and meet families' basic needs during the pandemic.

Say Yes to pilot health services at 4 schools
