Evaluation

Two CDC sponsored surveys: the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and the School Health Profiles Survey are used to assess program implementation, program results, and to guide improvements in programming.

The YRBS monitors priority health risk behaviors and experiences among high school students across the country. The following are results from the 2019 CMSD High School Youth Risk Behavior Survey:

The School Health Profiles Survey helps us assess the status of school health policies and practices,  identify gaps in programming and design programs to meet the needs of the students.  Profile surveys are completed by the school principal and the lead health education teacher.
