Cleveland Metropolitan School District's CEO Eric S. Gordon and MetroHealth CEO Akram Boutros joined staff and students at CMSD's Mound STEM School in the Slavic Village neighborhood to officially open a new health clinic at the school. CEO Gordon said the partnership is part of the key to The Cleveland Plan as it means involving the entire community in transforming the city's schools. Dr. Boutros said the clinic would be the first of about 20 that the hospital system plans to open in the school district. The Mound-STEM clinic will be open on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
