K-8 schools will hold conferences on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and highs schools will hold conferences on Thursday, Oct. 24. Schools will dismiss students early on the day of their conferences.

The Cleveland Plan, a customized blueprint for education reform written into state law, calls for parents to have meaningful face-to-face meetings with their children’s teachers at least once each school year.
Last school year, nearly 91 percent of parents and caregivers met with their children’s teachers.
CMSD has adopted different formats for conferences to make the meetings more relevant and interesting. Formats include student-led conferences and use of academic parent teacher teams that review and analyze student data.
