Cleveland residents have only a few days left complete the 2020 Census and help increase the amount of federal funding that flows to the city, CMSD and the region.
The Census can be completed in minutes by going to 2020Census.gov. The deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 30.
A complete and accurate count helps increase the amount of federal money that comes to the region for schools, road construction, health clinics, fire departments and more. Federal law guarantees that personal information remains confidential.
According to recent numbers, Cleveland ranked the lowest of Ohio’s eight urban centers with 50.2 percent of households participating. Akron was first at 64.2 percent. The state had achieved 70 percent participation.
