Our 10th grade students have just adopted their second RTA bus stop — and this time, they're bringing a game-changing innovation with them.
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Greater Cleveland RTA through the Adopt a Shelter program, students researched how cleanliness impacts public transportation safety. Their findings revealed a powerful insight: cleaner bus stops contribute to a greater sense of safety and reliability for riders.
Their solution? A robotic trash can — designed, built, and programmed entirely by students — that helps keep shelters clean and inviting for the community.
