The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing a second round of cash assistance that will help CMSD families meet their food needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This round of the Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer, or P-EBT, program is available to families of students who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunches and are in remote learning for at least five consecutive days between Aug. 1 and Sept. 30. Payments will total $5.86 per child for each day of remote learning during that period.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will distribute the benefits before Sept. 30, but payments will be delayed if the address on file with the District was not current.
Families whose payments are delayed need to contact the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services at 866-244-0071. The school district is not involved in the P-EBT program.
CMSD asks that families always make sure to have current addresses and other contact information on file at their schools.
