Martin Luther King, Jr. Campus is the place for students who dream of an exciting career as an EMT or a firefighter and those who see themselves keeping their community healthy as a dentist or a nurse.

As an MLK student, you’ll have the opportunity to earn industry certification in a variety of pathways that introduce you to exciting health and public safety careers. As a freshman, you’ll focus on the transition to high school and take the introductory Academies 101 course to explore the career pathways:

• Allied Health: Dental Assistant or Nursing Assistant 
• Criminal Justice 
• Exercise Science 
• Fire/EMT 

MLK connects classroom learning to experiences in the workplace through job shadowing and internships. You can earn industry credentials as a state-certified security officer, 911 dispatcher, state-tested nurse assistant, phlebotomist, dental assistant, fire/emergency medical technician or personal trainer.

MLK collaborates with community partners to support your success, including the Adult Parole Authority, Cleveland Division of Fire, Cleveland Division of Fire Vanguards of Cleveland, Cleveland Municipal Court and Fatima Family Center.
