Step Up To Quality, Ohio's voluntary rating system, inspects preschools for characteristics that include learning and development, administrative and leadership practices, staff qualifications and professional development, and family and community partnerships.
So far, 50 of CMSD's 63 preschool sites have earned five-star ratings from the program. The rest are expected to follow.
