Cleveland hosted the Fuel Up to Play 60 student ambassador summit last week. Hundreds of students from across the region, including 10 students from CMSD, participated in activities and learned about the importance of a healthy diet, exercise and sleep.
Student ambassadors volunteered at CMSD summer meal sites and joined the children of the community for lunch, flag football and poster making.
The summit concluded with students playing flag football at FirstEnergy Stadium with Cleveland Browns players.
The National Football League and National Dairy Council founded the Fuel Up to Play 60 program in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
