Plans for the future: Practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist. Ultimately, hopes to have a role in reforming U.S. healthcare policy and ensuring equal access to the nation’s healthcare system.

Challenges faced: Time management and handling a rigorous course load that was beyond his grade level.

Who deserves the most credit for his success? His mother, who studied to become a licensed practical nurse and worked nights to support her family. Despite her struggles, she always stressed the importance of using education and college to achieve personal and financial success.
