Cleveland Browns continue to help boost student attendance with "Special Teams Package" program
Jan 5, 2018
Many CMSD students miss school simply because they don't have the clothes to wear. As part of the District's ongoing efforts to boost attendance and eliminate barriers in education, the Cleveland Browns, Shoes and Clothes for Kids, and District CEO Eric Gordon teams up to make a special delivery at George Washington Carver. Second-graders received "Special Teams Packages." Each student was given a personalized bag filled with school uniforms, clothing essentials, and school supplies.
The Special Teams Packages program began in 2016 and is expected to help more than 2,000 CMSD students.
