Climate Strike: Students Taking Action

Forty-two CIHS students joined hundreds others downtown on Friday, September 20th to participate in the worldwide Climate Strike. While this was not a school-sponsored event, we congratulate our students on making their voice heard as citizens of the world.

End of 1st Quarter (October 11)

It is hard to believe but there are only three more weeks remaining in the first academic quarter. Please refer back to Interim Progress Reports, check Managebac (online gradebook), or reach out directly to your child's teachers to ensure that you are up-to-date on this crucial start to the academic year!

Volleyball Brings Home First Win!

The Campus International varsity volleyball team brought home their first win on Friday, sweeping Jane Addams through three games in a dominating performance. Congrats to Coach Williams, Coach Wilson, Mr. Holt (our Athletic Director), and our volleyball team!

Debate Season Starts!

Ms. Williams and our growing debate team represented for the third straight year at the opening weekend of the Thurgood Marshall Oratorical Debate competition sponsored by the Delta Alpha Lambda chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. CIHS won two of its matches on the opening weekend. Congrats to our Debate Team!

CIHS to Participate in FIRST Robotics Season through Partnership/Grant with Great Lakes Science Center!

We are excited to announce that the Great Lakes Science Center has offered CIHS the opportunity to develop our first ever robotics team and participate in the FIRST Robotics Season starting in January, including the Buckeye Regional Event in March 2020. Students will participate both during CAS Time weekly on Wednesdays and after school 2-3 times per week. Contact our IB (DP) Coordinator, Ms. Sarah Schneider, for more info.
