CMSD relaunched its Get 2 School, You Can Make It attendance campaign Wednesday, with speakers at a pep rally providing words of inspiration and telling students about the importance of attending school every day.

On April 1, 2019, Z107.9 FM surprised Patrick Henry School students with a pop-up party to reward them for improved attendance. When the DJ played the popular children's song "Baby Shark," the celebration kicked in to high gear.

Cleveland Browns visit Paul Dunbar School in support of attendance campaign
Apr 18, 2019 - The Cleveland Browns took a time out preparing for Sundays this fall by scooping up sundaes to the third graders at Paul Dunbar. Several players and Chomps visited the school to support the students and staff for their commitment to boosting attendance, especially during the Ohio State Tests.

Cleveland Browns rookie helps donate winter coats to students
Feb 5, 2019 - Winter weather can be brutal in Cleveland, and for many children here, a warm winter coat is a basic necessity families often cannot afford. Fortunately, every student at Garfield School will be able to stay warm this winter, thanks to Cleveland Browns rookie Denzel Ward, UnitedHealthcare, and nonprofit Coats for Kids. They teamed up to donate nearly 600 brand new coats to all of the students at Garfield.

Cleveland Browns continue to help boost student attendance by delivering "Special Teams Packages"
Oct 23, 2018 - Many CMSD students miss school simply because they don't have the clothes to wear. As part of the District's ongoing efforts to boost attendance and eliminate barriers in education, CMSD teamed up with the Cleveland Browns and Shoes and Clothes for Kids to create "Special Teams Packages," and the Browns hand delivered dozens of them to third-graders at Case Elementary recently.

Cleveland Browns deliver "Special Teams Packages" to help boost attendance
Jan 26, 2017 - The Cleveland Browns Foundation is continuing its commitment to CMSD’s attendance campaign with the launch of an initiative that provides uniforms and other necessities to students in need. The Special Teams Package program began in January with the first batch of deliveries to schools across the city. It's expected to benefit as many as 2,000 students.
