         You have lots of education choices in Cleveland, but Mooney is the place to be!  Our students are the focus each day at Mooney.  We are here to find a way for each child to succeed.  We have a full range of classrooms from PreSchool to 8th grade, including specialties like MD/Autism units. Our PreSchool classes have a prestigious 5-star rating from The State of Ohio. We have extended day Art, PE and Music  programs after school for students in grades 5-8. Mooney is one of the few schools with both a full-time nurse and psychologist. We are 1 to 1, where every student and staff have their own device.  We are the home to Magnificent and and Marvelous Mustangs.

  • Pep rally encourages students to Get 2 School (Video, photo gallery)

    CMSD relaunched its Get 2 School, You Can Make It attendance campaign Wednesday, with speakers at a pep rally providing words of inspiration and telling students about the importance of attending school every day.

  • True2U seeking mentors for 8th graders

    The True2U program is seeking mentors to help CMSD eighth graders begin to chart their futures. The volunteer mentors will work with the students throughout the year to help them explore their strengths and interests, think about career possibilities and select which CMSD high school is best for them.

  • New school year will bring new tools, services

    A new school year is almost here, bringing with it a number of things that are new and different. While most schools won’t start classes until Aug. 22, some high schools that operate year-round will welcome ninth graders on Monday and other students on Tuesday. Several other schools will return Monday, Aug. 8.
