I am Ms. Macalla and I will be reopening our library as the new Community, College, and Career Center Coordinator. I have been working with youth in libraries for over 20 years and love it! I believe libraries should be safe spaces where you can be yourself, get access to cool stuff you want and need, and connect with others in our community. I joined CMSD during the 2021-2022 school year as CCCCC at another high school and loved reopening the library and helping students not only connect with books but to college and career opportunities as well.  I am so excited to be joining the wonderful staff and scholars here at Lincoln West and reopening our library as a thriving Community, College and Career Center!

• I have 3 beagles and volunteer for a beagle rescue.
• I love the environment & growing pollinator and wildlife gardens.
• My favorite book genre is dystopian fiction.
