Hello, my name is Yulisa Alvarado. This will be my second-year teaching but my first year at Global Studies! My family is originally from Puerto Rico, but my sister and I were born and raised in Cleveland. I attended and graduated from Holy Name High School in Parma, OH. I then decided to pursue my bachelor's at Eastern Michigan University and graduated in 2021. Currently, I am attending Cleveland State University to pursue my Master’s. 

I am very excited to be a part of the LWGS family and share my love for science with everyone!

During my free time, I like to participate in indoor rhythmic cycling, gardening (if the weather permits), reading and spending time with my family.
