    Did you know that scholars in grades 1-8 take an assessment called NWEA?  

    What is NWEA Testing?  NWEA offers state-aligned, computerized adaptive tests, called Measure of Academic Progress (MAP). These tests accurately reflect the instructional level of each student and measure growth over time. NWEA offers MAP tests in the subjects of Mathematics, Reading, Language Arts.  

    What Grade Levels take NWEA? Grades 1-8 take the Math and ELA NWEA Assessment

    How do I access?  

    • First, identify the device that you are working from: Samsung Tablet, Ipad, or Laptop Computer
    • If you are using a Samsung Tablet or Laptop computer, please open 'GOOGLE CHROME' and enter the following web address:   test.mapnwea.org
    • If you are using an Ipad, you can not access the NWEA testing website using Safari, and will need to make sure Google Chrome installed.  Click Here for step by step instructions to install Google Chrome.  After you install Chrome, you can access the test.mapnwea.org website.

    How do I start? After you access the nwea website, a Log In screen will appear.  The 'Session Name' and Session Password' will be given to your child by their classroom teacher.
