This three-day teacher workshop July 23-25 will use trees, plant structures, and pollinators as the inspiration for observation and description. Attendees will acquire classroom skills and strategies that align with the creative and critical thinking goals of both content areas in the K-12 curriculum. Participants will engage in hands-on experiences and take-home projects for art and science. Explore the collections and grounds of the Botanical Garden in the mornings and the Art Museum in the afternoons. Through this workshop, participants will learn to connect their curricula with the exciting resources available at both institutions.
