Cleveland Browns continue to help boost student attendance by delivering "Special Teams Packages"
Oct 23, 2018
Many CMSD students miss school simply because they don't have the clothes to wear. As part of the District's ongoing efforts to boost attendance and eliminate barriers in education, CMSD teamed up with the Cleveland Browns and Shoes and Clothes for Kids to create "Special Teams Packages," and the Browns hand delivered dozens of them to third-graders at Case Elementary recently. Each student was given a personalized bag filled with school uniforms, clothing essentials, and school supplies.
The Special Teams Packages program began in 2016 and is expected to help thousands of CMSD students.
