Mrs. Colleen Palomar
My name is Colleen Palomar. I am excited to begin my 19th year as an Intervention Specialist for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District! I am passionate about my students and I strive to discover strategies in an effort for them to be successful in school and life beyond school. My career began at Corlett Elementary School and I have been at Riverside School for the past 10 years.
I currently co-teach in the English Language Arts Department for grades 6-8 as well as work with students in the resource room untilizing the READ180 program. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-12 from Ohio University and a Masters in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. Continuing my education is important to me and I consider myself a "lifelong learner". I live in the KAMM's Corner neighborhood, in Cleveland, with my husband Anthony and my 3 year old daughter Marin.
