Last week, at the 39th conference, the club honored the District’s top seniors and connected them with civic leaders to discuss issues that are important to the seniors and articulate their visions of the future.
As bike sharing gains momentum across the country, one CMSD student is preparing to launch a similar program that aims to give Cleveland’s children a form of safe and reliable transportation.
2/15/2017 -- Facing History New Tech students this week listened to the firsthand account of 88-year-old Albert Hersh, a Jewish man who was sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp at age 14. The students had the chance to ask Hersh questions, take a photo with him, and for those who were particularly touched by his story, ask for a handshake or a hug.
Some ninth-graders from Facing History New Tech High Shool went before seven judges from the community on Wednesday, pitching prototypes in the high school’s twist on the hit television program “Shark Tank.”
