• Dear Families of Hannah Gibbons,

As we reflect on the 2016-2017 school year, please join the Hannah Gibbons staff in acknowledging and celebrating the many wonderful learning experiences and educational opportunities that have taken place for our students at Hannah Gibbons, in numerous classrooms and in very creative and innovative ways. Together we have planned and executed best teaching practices and held students to high standards and expectations.

The staff is committed to pushing through the last few weeks and we are hopeful and excited about the prospect of excellence that our students have shown so far. As we finish out our last few weeks of school, I want to stress how important it is that our scholars attend school every day.  We are on the verge of reaching the attendance goal that we set forth for this year, so please remember that every day counts.

We look forward to continuing our work with parents and students in the 2017-2018 school year to create a school community that values academic distinction and healthy lifestyles, a school that embraces change and accepts people for who they are and values every student and advocates for every child. A school that is forward thinking and progressive in thought and deed. We welcome your suggestions for improvement and welcome the opportunity to showcase the best our students have to offer.

I hope that each of you have a restful and enjoyable summer break, and thank you again for your contribution this year to making Hannah Gibbons a school we can all take pride in.

As always, I thank you for choosing Hannah Gibbons STEM School to educate your child(ren). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at Gregory.adkins@clevelandmetroschools.org or 216.838.0750.

    Educationally,

    Greg Adkins, Principal
