• Dear Families of Hannah Gibbons,

February is always a busy time at Hannah Gibbons. It’s full of parent conferences, days off of school and our Black History Celebration. As always, we look forward to celebrating Black History Month! Our scholars have already been working hard to prepare for the Black History Month Living Museum. Please plan on attending and supporting our scholars' hard work. In all of this excitement, we must remember that we are just a few weeks away from testing. Please make sure that your children are in school every single day. The staff is working hard to ensure that our scholars are prepared for the upcoming assessments. The teachers can only do this work if your children are in school. We all know that as the weather remains cold, our scholars are more likely to get sick. If you child is sick and must stay home from school, please call the school to let us know and be sure to send in a note. Teachers are more than willing to prepare the work your child is missing to be picked up and completed at home. We don’t want them to miss out on instruction when they are ill!

As always, I thank you for choosing Hannah Gibbons STEM School to educate your child(ren). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at Gregory.adkins@clevelandmetroschools.org or 216.838.0750.
