Sunbeam School, founded in 1921, proves to be one of the most unique schools within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The school’s namesake comes from a group of forward thinking, local women who wanted to aid pediatric patients at Lakeside Hospital.
These ladies were known as the Sunbeam Circle.
Sunbeam carries on their vision and tradition to this day, and we truly exemplify the inclusion of typically-developing and special education PreK-8 grade students.
